TERMS OF PAYMENT

Orders can be pre-paid with Visa, MasterCard, DiscoverCard, money order or cashier’s check. All non-prepaid orders are shipped C.O.D. to dealers. C.O.D. orders to retail customers will be shipped C.O.D. Cash Only. We carry no open accounts. All orders pre-paid by personal check will be held 10 business days for the check to clear. There are no exceptions to these payment terms.

ORDERING SPOKES

We will accept spoke orders by phone or in writing, via e-mail or fax. We will not, however, be held responsible for mistakes on phone orders. When a customer makes specifications for custom spokes and nipples, they must be given in a manner called out in this catalog. We guarantee only that the dimensions, as specified by the customer, shall be furnished. When sending in sample spokes, please ship them in cardboard, or in a padded envelope.

In our Spoke Kit section we list our most commonly requested spoke kits - referred to as “Pre-packaged”. Pre-packaged spoke kits are usually in stock, with the exception of certain sizes in chrome finish.

All orders for custom made Design spoke kits (for anything other than stock type Harley hubs) are required in writing, either by email sales@buchananspokes.com, by fax at (626) 812-0243, or by standard mail.

If you cannot locate an item in our catalog, please inquire, as we may have it or be able to make it.

Motorcycle brand names are provided for reference only. Products appearing in this catalog are not licensed or endorsed by listed motorcycle manufacturers.

ORDERING RIMS

All of our aluminum rims are stocked blank and drilled per order. This allows us to accommodate each customer’s unique angle requirements. For this reason, all rim orders are required in writing, either by e-mail sales@buchananspokes.com, by FAX (626) 812-0243, or by standard mail.

When placing your order please provide the following information: Year, Make, Model, Front or Rear, Disc or Drum. Include the brand name, width, diameter and number of holes required for the rim you are requesting.

Please note that rims cannot be drilled for same day shipment.

BACKORDERS

We do not process backorders, but if we are out of stock on an item that you are interested in, We will gladly take your information and contact you when the item is available.

MINIMUM ORDERS

All orders under $25.00 (not including shipping), will incur a $6.00 handling fee.

DEALER PRICING

To receive dealer net, you must be in the business of one of the following: Motorcycle Dealer, Motorcycle Repair, Motorcycle Aftermarket Parts & Sales, or Motorcycle Manufacturer. For us to provide dealer pricing, we require you to have a business telephone listing with your telephone company, under your current business name. California businesses must complete, and sign, a California Resale Certificate (available upon request), or sales tax will be charged – no exceptions. Your address of record with the California Board of Equalization must match your current business address.

QUANTITY ORDERS

Quantity pricing is available. A written purchase order and pre-payment must accompany quantity orders. Expect a minimum of 8 weeks to prepare order for shipment. Quantity orders are non-refundable.

SHIPPING

Unless otherwise specified, we will ship UPS Ground or RPS Ground.

We can ship UPS 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, or Next Day Air, and higher shipping rates will apply. Next Day Air ‘Red Label’ requires a $12.50 service fee in addition to the actual shipping charge.

Shipping by any means other than those listed above will be granted only upon customer request, and will entail a service fee of $15.00 for delivery to the shipping agent.

Dealers, we will drop ship to your customer for a surcharge of 10% of the order, excluding shipping costs.

We inspect all merchandise prior to shipment and all damage claims become the responsibility of the carrier. The recipient must make claims for damage with the carrier, not with Buchanan’s.

When sending us your parts to be worked on, please include your return shipping address, daytime telephone number and an itemized list and description of parts (even if only one item), in case of damage caused during shipping. Without an itemized list, we have no way of knowing if the shipment is complete, or if all the parts shipped have been retrieved from the package.

Buchanan’s Spoke & Rim, Inc. will not be held responsible for parts lost in disposed packaging. If there is a discrepancy between your packing list, and what was found in the box, you will be contacted as soon as possible. Buchanan’s Spoke & Rim, Inc. will not be held liable for incoming damage due to negligent packaging.

SERVICE

Orders are generally filled within 3 to 5 business days, depending on seasonal backlog. Special order parts and services will take longer. Anodizing, chroming, custom dimpling, etc. may take 3 to 4 weeks.

RETURNS

No returns will be accepted after 30 days from date of shipment, and only for “pre-packaged” spoke kits listed in this catalog. There is a restocking fee of 25% on all returned merchandise. A copy of your receipt must accompany all returns. Spoke kits made to order, custom drilled rims and any other “one of a kind” items cannot be returned unless because of Buchanan’s error. C.O.D. returns will be refused.

WARRANTY

All parts manufactured by Buchanan’s Spoke and Rim, Inc. are guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for 6 months. This warranty does not apply to corrosion factors, which may affect the materials in certain regions. Buchanan’s Spoke & Rim, Inc. will not warranty broken spokes that were installed by customer with inadequate torque settings. Please read our yellow and orange sheets included with your spoke kits. Warranty applies only to parts and services supplied by Buchanan’s.

If not ridden and maintained properly, motorcycles can be dangerous. A customer who is not qualified should hire a qualified mechanic to do the work. Buchanan’s Spoke & Rim, Inc. cannot be held liable for parts used in any manner other than originally intended. Vehicles used in competition or off road are not covered by, and are exempt from, any and all warranties.

DISCLAIMER

When a customer makes specifications for custom spokes and nipples, they must be given in a manner called out in this catalog. Buchanan’s Spoke & Rim, Inc. guarantees only that the dimensions, as specified by the customer, shall be furnished.

The customer is hereby further notified and warned that Buchanan’s Spoke & Rim, Inc. assumes no obligation to perform any type of metallurgical or laboratory testing of the materials on which the work is to be performed or has been performed upon, or services have been rendered for hidden or non-obvious conditions, cracks, tensile strength, elasticity or otherwise, all such testing and disclosures being the sole responsibility and obligation of the customer.
