Spoke kits for Indian Chief Hubs
 
EARLY INDIAN CHIEF (mid 1930's - 1947?) - 40 count
Cast steel spool hub with detachable drum/sprocket (bearing on bottom side comes off with drums).
  Laces cross four measures 4 5/8" diameter 3" wide.   Rim is severly offset towards drum side.
  Stock spokes were 6.175 on 4 cyl. & 6-8ga on Chiefs.   Nipples were .343".   Aftermarket rims use .281" nipples.

LATE INDIAN CHIEF (1947? & UP) - 40 count
Hub is two piece (not counting the drum) consisting of a cast center and flange on brake side, brazed
to pressed steel flange on opposite side.   Chiefs laced cross 3 with 7-9ga. spokes and .343" nipples.
